Our story
Rooted in Lewis County since 1991.
Friends of Lewis County Hospice was formed to strengthen hospice care through community support. The organization received federal recognition as a tax-exempt public charity in 1992 and has continued to bring donors, volunteers and local partners together around dignified end-of-life care.
Over the years, the Friends have organized community fundraisers, supported patient and family needs, maintained the Community Hospice Garden, promoted hospice education and provided substantial charitable support to the local hospice program.
Our work is grounded in a simple belief: no family should feel alone when facing the end of life.
